Medical Mindfulness Director + Yoga Teacher
Kristin has her Master's of Science in Occupational Therapy, and worked in an outpatient pediatric and orthopedic clinic for almost 4 years.
While working as an occupational therapist, she began her personal practice of yoga, and completed her RYT-200 and RCYT. She implemented these practices within her patient care, and found yoga and mindfulness practices to be a powerful "prescription" to aid in the personal healing process - for mind and body.
Creating the Medical Mindfulness mission at Challenge to Change has helped to further integrate the practice in the medical field, for practitioners and patients alike, and she cannot wait to see where this path continues to lead.
When not teaching or practicing yoga, you will find Kristin sharing the modality of Human Design, snuggling up with a good book, spending time with her husband Keegan and their friends, or kissing her golden retriever, Cooper.
